Basic idea of launching from the ocean surface is simple and ingenious: a rocket can be launched precisely from the equator where rotation of the Earth contributes to the maximum speed increment and where there are no impact area restrictions for the used rocket stages

OFFSHORE PLATFORM
Launch of Zenit One is planned to be carried out from an offshore platform, manufactured as a non-self-propelled floating dock with a displacement of 10,000 tonnes.
Pre-launch operations are performed at the base port, and launch operations are performed at the offshore platform itself
